About Us

Hi Friend!

We are Tiny Traditions and we believe every family deserves the joy of celebrating cultural festivals without the stress of planning.

As busy parents ourselves, we know how hard it can be to carve out time for crafts, recipes, and meaningful stories. That’s why we created Tiny Traditions: curated holiday boxes filled with storybooks, hands-on crafts, festive recipes, and music playlists.

Our mission is simple:

✨ Make it easy for families to celebrate their heritage or explore new traditions.
✨ Create magical, screen-free moments for kids ages 4–9.
✨ Build cultural connections and bring curiosity and togetherness into every holiday.

We want to help your family celebrate the world — one holiday at a time.

Our Story

Since you’re here, you’re probably curious to know more about us. So cozy up, grab a drink, and let’s get chatting.

I’m Parvati — a working mom of two who has always loved making every holiday feel special. Growing up in India, I celebrated festivals all year long. Each one was joyful, unique, and full of meaning.

But as life got busier, I often found myself scrambling at the last minute… or realizing a festival had slipped by entirely (until my mom reminded me!). Sound familiar?

That’s why I created Tiny Traditions: to take away the stress and bring back the joy. To make it easy to celebrate traditions you already love — and to discover new ones from cultures around the world. Each box is filled with crafts, recipes, and traditions you can trust — co-created with people rooted in those cultures, so every detail feels authentic. Best part? No need to track the festival dates or prep supplies. Your box arrives ready, so you can focus on family, fun, and memories.

From Our First Launch to What’s Ahead

Tiny Traditions launched in October 2025 with two celebration boxes — Diwali (Indian Festival of Lights) and Día de los Muertos (Mexican Festival of Remembrance) — and both sold out thanks to tremendous love and support from families across the U.S. That early response confirmed what we believed all along: there is a deep need for joyful, hands-on ways for children to explore festivals and cultures throughout the year.

We’re growing, and we look forward to celebrating many festivals together in 2026 and beyond. Our mission is simple and mighty: to make it joyful and easy for families to explore traditions all year long.

Tiny Traditions is more than a box — it’s a doorway into memories that last a lifetime. Welcome to the family!

With much care,
Parvati Patil
